Dr. Hollie B. McCart, MD

Hollie B. McCart, MD, is a Shreveport native who graduated from C. E. Byrd High School before going to college at LSU Baton Rouge. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a secondary degree in psychology. Dr. McCart returned home to graduate from LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine, where she also completed an internship and OB-GYN residency.  

As an obstetrician and gynecologist at WK Pierremont OB-GYN Specialists, Dr. McCart values caring for women during all stages of life, especially during their childbearing years. She cares for patients as she would her own family and works to ensure patients are comfortable with their individual treatment plans. Patients rely on Dr. McCart for annual well-woman gynecology visits, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and pregnancy care. 

When not seeing patients, Dr. McCart’s personal hobbies include baking, traveling and tackling a good DIY project. She enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, especially her husband and son.
